you will appreciate the itinerary,
as you will be able to admire from
the boat the promontory of Milazzo
with the giant CASTELLO di Milazzo
rising on the summit of the ancient
village of Milazzo of uncertain
origin, probably Arab.
Milazzo
Castle was expanded in Norman and
Swabian times, today declared
National Monument. In 1608 the
Cathedral of Milazzo (now the
Ancient Cathedral) and the Palazzi
de 'Giurati were built.
For
decades the Castle of Milazzo has
remained inaccessible, after years
of renovations the Castle has
returned to be visited and in recent
years has been the venue for shows,
conferences, events.
Continuing in navigation and before
landing on the island of Panarea,
you will have the opportunity to see
from the boat the Bay of Calajunco
and the beach of Zimmari.
Stop at
about 2 hours at the port of St.
Peter and disembark the passengers.
To allow the visit of the village,
bathing and optional lunch at a paid
restaurant.
Panarea
is the smallest island of the
Aeolian Islands and with the islets
of Basiluzzo, Spinazzola, Lisca
Bianca, Dattilo, Bottaro, Lisca Nera
(nowadays there are only a few
remnants), the Panarelli and Ants
cliffs form a small archipelago
between Lipari and Stromboli placed
on a single submarine stand.
From the
geological point of view Panarea is
the oldest of the Aeolian Islands,
with the surrounding islets what
remains of eruptive phenomena of a
single volcanic basin, almost
completely submerged and eroded by
the sea and the wind.
Panarea
Island has a little more than 300
inhabitants in the winter, but
during the summer Panarea is
transformed into the VIP Island. All
the services are from the Medical
Guard to the Bancomat, shops, bars,
restaurants, a disco that is Among
the most famous of the
Mediterranean.
Panarea
has become the island of singles,
many summer boys and girls go to
Panarea to find new friends and what
they seem to be doing ... The island
has few beaches within walking
distance, the most visited by
bathers is the Beach Zimmari's
finest sand.
For
those who wish, it will be possible
to walk to the small pre-historic
village of Capo Milazzese, dating
back to 1400 BC, about 45 minutes,
or with typical Panarea electric
taxis (optional).
At
16:00 departure from Panarea and
transfer to Stromboli. During the
transfer stop in the sea in front of
the picturesque village of Ginostra
and then to the port of Stromboli
Scari until sunset.
Approximately 17:00 arrival on the
island at the port of Stromboli
Scari. There are many island
attractions considered by many to be
the most beautiful and fascinating
of the Aeolian archipelago where the
fire "lives" with a thick vegetation
and a fauna characterized by the
presence of various species.
Among
the destinations to be visited are
the Church of San Vincenzo, on the
homonymous square, where you can
admire a magnificent view of the
islands.
Particular attraction also arouses
the home that was the love nest of
Roberto Rossellini and Ingrid
Bergman during the filming of the
film "Stromboli Terra di Dio";
Another curiosity set in Stromboli
is the conclusion of Giulio Verne's
novel "Journey to the Center of
Earth" of 1864.
Bathing
is possible at Scari a few steps
from the beach port formed by a
finely sandy mixture and small
pebbles. Apparently dark-colored
water on the backdrops of volcanic
material, it is spotless.
For
trekking lovers, you can freely
climb the crater of Stromboli
volcano to the Observatory at 400 mt,
from where you can have another
magnificent panoramic view of the
island.
At dusk
departure from the port of Stromboli
Scari and transfer under the Sciara
del Fuoco to admire, from the sea,
the spectacular eruptions of the
volcano always active.
Return
to Milazzo scheduled for around
22:45

cost of the landing charge is € 1.50
per person)
